BrokerLink has secured a triple sweep with the acquisitions of Blue Circle Insurance Brokers, Stevenson Insurance Brokers, and McVey Bros. Insurance Brokers.

Alberta-based Blue Circle Insurance, founded 2001, has been offering tailored coverage options to clients in Calgary and Edmonton for 20 years. It is a full-service brokerage that provides home, auto, and commercial insurance, as well as a specialized motorcycle insurance program.

Stevenson Insurance in Barrie, ON has been in business since 1921. The broker provides home, auto, commercial, and farm insurance solutions.

Meanwhile, McVey Bros. Insurance serves customers in Ottawa, as well as the surrounding areas of Manotick, Greely, Metcalfe, Russell, Osgoode, Winchester, Kemptville, and Chesterville. For 23 years, the broker has been offering home, auto, commercial, farm, and life insurance.

The employees of all three brokerages will join the BrokerLink team.

“Each of these well-established brokerages has built strong relationships in their communities,” said BrokerLink president Joe D’Annunzio.

D’Annunzio added that BrokerLink prides itself on serving the communities in which it lives and works, so the company has plans to continue building on the relationships developed through “exceptional, local customer service.”

This triple acquisition deal comes months after BrokerLink established a dominating presence in the Atlantic region through two major M&A transactions.

In August, BrokerLink acquired Archway Insurance – one of the largest and fastest-growing insurance brokerages based in the area. The acquisition also included Archway’s subsidiaries Upstairs Finance and C.D. Anderson Insurance. In addition to Archway, BrokerLink also snapped up South Coast Insurance Agency in Newfoundland. These acquisitions effectively doubled BrokerLink’s size in Atlantic Canada.
