Recognized by the Canadian government and the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) as the nation’s governing body for the sport of figure skating, Skate Canada is also the world’s largest and oldest figure
skating organization.
Director of enterprise risk management, Ilan Yampolsky, has been with the organization since 2014, having previously served as director of risk management for Scouts Canada.
As of October 7, 2017, the 2017–18 Skate Canada National Team has won seven gold, five silver and seven bronze medals.
