Morgan Roberts wasn’t looking for a career in insurance when she took on an administrative role at a Whitby, Ontariobased brokerage – her primary goal was to be closer to home after her son was born. But “right away, I found the work really interesting and wanted to learn more,” Roberts says.
She did just that and is now 10 years into her insurance career – and is marking her third straight year on the Elite Broker list. “I’m still learning something new every day and still looking at every call as an opportunity to make someone’s life better,” she says.
Roberts prides herself on giving each customer the level of attention and service she would expect if she were on the other end of the line. She especially loves the problem-solving aspect of her job.
“Everybody’s circumstances are a little different,” she says, “so when you’re able to get someone just the right package of coverage, find coverage for someone who’s hard to insure or quote a great price that maybe they weren’t expecting, it’s a rush.”
