    Some good stuff in this interview. But whilst Kerri seemed very quick to opt for commissions ahead of fees she overlooked the advisor's (broker's) relationship with, and responsibilities towards, the supplier (insurer) who pays the commission. A commission taker is effectively the sales/service contractor to the supplier as well as its agent(in law). Having respect for, and building sound relationships with, suppliers is essential to enable the advisor to deliver all the "goodies" to which Kerri very rightfully refers.
    This duality of the broker's role is all too often underplayed.
