The potentially inflammatory issue of whether retrospective fire levy payments will be sought has finally been clarified by the NZ Fire Service Commission.

This is somewhat confusing...and maybe I haven't had my Wildbean Coffee yet but
"The Commission will act vigorously against parties that engage in levy avoidance. It is unfair on those who pay their fair share"
And for those who don't insure at all get what exactly , oh that's right, the Fire Service Commission would have a field day with the Media the little red engine rocked up to a building going up in pretty white smoke and watched it burn because the owner(s) never paid any Fire Service Levies........ Tink tink, what's that, oh, the sound of Fire Marks being embedded to every "property owners building who pays their fire levy" - now that's FAIR!
