An industry body has warned the loss adjusting profession could be caught short if succession planning is not urgently addressed.

    Your article is very interesting. Being a independant broker for close to 17 years, i ask the same questions. Technology is taking over, but is it solving the problem. NO. the young people dont want to get involved in insurance due to the pay. Only once you reach top management the pay gets more rewarding. There are to many clauses in insurance. What happed to insurance where it is covered and no excuses. So the insurance industry is losing skilled people. Risk advisors and loss ajusters are the key roles in a company but over looked.
    Hope that the insustry will wake up, before we end up with a catastrophe we can not handle or dont have enough hands on the ground.
