A lower level of online smarts among Kiwis has resulted in the NZ offshoot of an online commercial aggregator progressing much slower than its Aussie parent, according to its founder.

    Any response would be disparaging.

Whilst the author may be right, it is also possibly a matter of choice rather than inability. NZ has a much smaller population, and people here often choose interaction over impersonal remote services. Also, the breadth of options is more limited. We don't have dozens of insurers competing for every customer, so shopping around doesn't take so long.
