While new survey findings have revealed 40% of Kiwi policy holders are comparing motor insurance prices, this insurer boss says the industry would benefit with more.

    Those that want to search for cheaper premiums using the computer etc will always shop around. As brokers we can not be in this market. Or market are business owners or individuals who recognise the value of dealing with a professional and having advice on such issues as claims settlements etc I like the word 'GESTALT " It applies to our broking industry so well

    No one mentioned the security of the Insurers. Hello!!! Remember AMI... The Government will not bail out another Insurer. Brokers need to put a price on their added value for their involvement and advice on domestic insurances and need not compete in the direct market.

    David . On the American dollar they have the phrase ' in God we trust ".
    Maybe that's the phrase that should be put on policies sold on the internet.
