Paul is focusing on the current state of Roboadvice, not what the future will bring. Steady work on improving advice given will within 5 years enable Roboadvice to be detailed, customized and very similar to human advisers for 70% of clients. What the software will find hard will be the behavioral stuff - ensuring clients do what they should do. Advisers will have to move towards being trusted helpers in financial matters - which the best advisers already are.
