    A near exact situation has arisen with EQC writing off 'over cap' a repaired 3 bedroom house and the insurer (STATE) says, not us!! Failing foundation. 200k + to fix. (Penny Homes accept no responsibility- WTF?)

    I was always suspicious about there being no insurance ombudsmen in Christchurch.

    EQR even told us to my face "This is a multiunit fuckup from before we realised we were fucking up!".
