    What most government policy analysts have missed that 'global warming' is not actually about a small rise in temperature, which most NZers would welcome.
    The main issue is that more heat in the atmosphere mean more energy, and that widens the deviation of what is 'normal' weather behavior. The ends of the curve move more than the mean does.
    Thus we can expect more storms, more floods, more droughts.
