Daniel Mathieson started in the insurance business early – he’s amassed fourteen years of experience as a Fire and General broker and he’s only 32 – and last year decided to spread his wings and fly solo. He enjoys the challenge of securing cover for hard-to-place risks and has had success placing cover for clients where market appetite has been non-existent. As founder and director of Sherpa, Daniel produced over $250,000 in his first year of operation. He achieved IBANZ Chartered Insurance Broker (CIB) status in 2019.
