Michael Lovegrove leads JRNY as founder and CEO, not only heading up the team and direction of the company – reporting to the board and shareholders – but leading sales for the company too.
Lovegrove’s aspirations are to help more insurers better protect people around the world by improving customer experience and insurer efficiencies, thus reducing insurance premiums passed to customers. Insurance can also become easier to understand and buy for customers, contributing to a reduction in the global protection gap.
As a thought leader and authority on insurtech, Lovegrove has spoken at numerous domestic and offshore industry conferences, and is an in-demand presenter and panel member. Lovegrove is also passionate about reducing the ever-growing daily stress levels of the population by solving the insurance problem. As part of that mission, JRNY plans to continue serving the New Zealand market, expand further into Australia and Singapore and enter new markets in Asia, and possibly the UK and/or US. He also wishes to continue growing a quality team having a global impact and working with the leading worldwide insurers.
