Having held a number of positions across claims, underwriting and broking, Teri Scandrett has brought a wealth of experience to her role at ICIB. Today, she supports two senior brokers, while also being responsible for her own book of business, and is currently working towards her level 5 qualification.
In the near future, Scandrett wishes to become a Senior Broker or Manager. To this end, she invests her time into a wide variety of related endeavours, working hard to build relationships across the industry with key contacts across a number of companies and insurance functions, which assists with ICIB’s reputation in the market. Scandrett is also highly motivated to expand and develop her skill sets, and so attends various conferences, workshops, and seminars to ensure her knowledge is up-to-date. Additionally, Scandrett serves as a committee member of the Young Insurance Professionals, which provides educational and social opportunities for up and coming members of the insurance industry. Her role involves liaising with key industry stakeholders, working with budgets, event organisation, participating in annual meetings and networking.
