Christopher Box (pictured), who held a number of underwriting positions at Zurich UK from 2006 to 2015, has been appointed as senior underwriter at European Property Underwriting Limited (EPUL).

The seasoned underwriter was most recently with MS Amlin prior to joining the managing general agent, where he will be in charge of UK and European property owner risks.

“EPUL has an established reputation within the UK and European property investor sector for technical excellence and first-class service,” commented chief executive Ian Dopson.

“In searching for a new member of the team, we had no hesitation in appointing Chris, who brings with him a wealth of experience and underwriting expertise in our chosen markets, endorsed by his contacts in the broker community.”

Box became property owners underwriter at MS Amlin after serving as London senior market underwriter at Zurich UK. EPUL said his appointment contributes further strength to the commercial property MGA’s offering.

Part of Global Risk Partners Limited (GRP), the London-based Lloyd’s coverholder provides specialist insurance and advice for mid to large property owners, asset managers, and pension funds in the UK and across Europe through its network of distribution partners.
