It looks like AXA Partners is on a roll.

The transversal business unit, which in recent months extended its existing relationships with Atlanta Group and Lloyds Banking Group, has a new friend in the form of Shell Energy Retail. The latter, in conjunction with AXA Partners, has launched boiler care and home emergency services for British households.

Lifting the lid on the tie-up, Shell Energy Retail chief executive Colin Crooks noted: “This launch builds our credentials as a trusted partner in the home. We began earlier this year by switching all customers to 100% renewable electricity as standard and look forward to rolling out further services and products – beyond core energy and broadband – that will help more people save energy and money at home.

“By partnering with AXA, we’re able to offer boiler care and home emergency cover that is hassle-free, easy to understand, and competitively priced. Our policies will give homeowners peace of mind, financial certainty, and a high standard of service whenever they need it.”

Four different policies, ranging from a monthly price of £6.99 to £18.48, will leverage the AXA unit’s network of trusted local tradespeople and contractors to deliver speedy response to home emergencies.

“Home emergency cover is a core part of our business, and to be entering into a partnership with Shell Energy Retail as a key player in the energy space, is an exciting move for us,” commented Charles Dennison, sales director at AXA Partners.

“We are expanding further into the utilities market, and with Shell Energy Retail also growing beyond its core energy offering, it was the right time for both parties to take this next step. What’s more, we have the shared values of continual innovation and commitment to meeting customer demand.”
