The general insurance loss adjusting panel of FTSE100 financial services group Legal & General is getting reinforcements, with three firms tapped to be part of the expansion.

Effective immediately, joining Cunningham Lindsey on the loss adjusting panel are Direct Group and Davies Group. Also going onboard, following an eight-month review across the UK adjusting market space, is Stream Claims Services for property claims specialist surveying.

“These are important additions to our loss adjusting panel,” noted William Quibell, head of major loss and supplier management at Legal & General’s general insurance unit. “Each panel member brings a different skillset allowing greater protection for our customers.

“The additions of independent surveying validation and project management will provide comfort to our customers that their technical, complex, and large loss reinstatement schemes are managed by qualified building professionals.”

Committed to improving its service, the home insurer said it wants to ensure that the right loss adjuster is appointed to facilitate quick decision-making for faster resolutions.
