Lloyd’s is about to welcome a new broker.
Former NDI Insurance & Reinsurance Brokers boss Pieter Vlasbloem has offered a peak at what’s to come from Marken Re Specialty – the new specialty insurance and reinsurance broker at Lloyd’s of London where he will serve as managing director.
“I am pleased to announce the establishment of a specialty (re)insurance broker,” said Vlasbloem on LinkedIn. “Specialty areas are trade & investment credit, surety and political risks, also agriculture and energy.
“These areas are, however, not a limitation of our capacities and possibilities; we serve our clients reliably and professionally for all their (re)insurance requirements.”
No specific timeline for the launch was provided but you’ll find “Details coming soon!” smack in the middle of the company’s homepage.
