Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) has announced that its North American aviation team has promoted two executives and hired a new underwriting specialist.

The company has promoted Lamont Rosemond to regional head of aviation programs and product development in North America. He will report to Dave Warfel, regional head of aviation for North America, and will be based in Alpharetta, GA. In his new role, Rosemond supports and implements strategic product development and growth initiatives. He is also responsible for managing programs, and developing and maintaining strong broker and client relationships in the aviation line of business. Rosemond joined AGCS in 2014 and has 15 years of aviation underwriting experience. He is also a licensed private pilot.

Joshua Ray has been promoted to general aviation team leader for the Eastern Region. He will report to Dave Watkins, regional aviation product leader, and will be based in Alpharetta. In his new role, Ray handles complex underwriting placements and strategies in AGCS’s Eastern Region. He joined AGCS in 2008 and has more than 23 years of aviation insurance experience. Ray has been a pilot since 1989.

AGCS has also hired Peter Falcone as an underwriting specialist. Falcone will report to Ray. He joins AGCS from AIG Aviation, where he served as a senior underwriter. He has also served as a broker at Willis Towers Watson and a senior client services manager at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.

“Lamont and Josh have been instrumental to our aviation team’s growth and success,” Warfel said. “They are recognized leaders in the industry whose expertise will help propel AGCS Aviation to greater heights in the years ahead. We are also delighted to welcome Pete to our team. His impressive experience on both the aviation underwriting and broker side will help AGCS further support the evolving needs of our North American aviation clients.”
