Prime Property & Casualty Insurance (PPCI) is debuting in the North Carolina and New Mexico commercial auto markets as an admitted carrier.

The company specializes in providing insurance solutions for distressed and substandard risks. PPCI offers the capacity to insure any commercial auto risk class with adverse account experiences, a release added.

“Producers have been frustrated by their inability to meet the needs of clients about offering a market for difficult risks to the commercial auto marketplace. PPCI provides exactly that market,” said PPCI president and CEO Rick J. Lindsey.

PPCI offers coverage solutions for a wide variety of commercial auto risk classes – trucking, taxi cabs, towing, waste hauling and paratransit operations. The company also handles its claims “in-house” via its Claims Direct Access (CDA) service, which has successfully resolved more than 60,000 property & casualty claims and lawsuits.

Earlier this year, PPCI expanded its operations in the state of Kentucky, where it also operates as an admitted carrier.
