Spirit Commercial Auto RRG, in conjunction with Wesco Insurance Company, has completed the extension of its reinsurance placement with CTC Transportation Insurance until 2019.

According to Reinsurance News, the extension will take Spirit through its eighth year of operations providing comprehensive liability insurance to trucking companies. These solutions are available to retail agents through CTC Transportation Insurance.

“It is exciting to receive the support of our reinsurance partner to help facilitate our strong growth curve,” commented CTC president Brenda Guffey on the reinsurance extension. “As we enter our sixth year of operation serving the transportation industry, I look forward to the prospect of Spirit’s continued growth and success.”

The privately-held CTC Transportation Insurance is a wholesaler focused on the trucking insurance industry. On its website, the company claims that it is committed to “providing our retail agents with fast quoting technology, in-house binding facility, multiple brokerage markets and superior customer service.”

CTC also claims on its website that its underwriters are experts in the trucking business and “do not shy away from hard-to-place risks.”
