International broker Hub International Limited has announced that it has acquired the assets of Alaska-based SGY, Inc. (d/b/a Shattuck & Grummett Insurance). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Shattuck & Grummett is a fourth-generation firm based in Juneau, and the oldest operating agency in Alaska, first opening its doors in 1898. The firm provides commercial and personal insurance and employee benefits services to businesses and individuals.
John Grummett, Stacy Grummett, Rich Shattuck and Teresa Young, owners of Shattuck & Grummett Insurance, and their employees, will join Hub Northwest.

The deal is the latest in Hub’s continued acquisition spree. Earlier last week, the global broker snapped up Texas-based brokerage Catto & Catto.
