Bolton & Company started as a humble operation in Los Angeles in 1931, became a family business in the 1960s and has since grown to become one of the largest employee-owned insurance consultancies in the country. Its nearly 200 insurance professionals across California broker insurance, employee benefits, technology and strategic solutions, placing more than $500 million in annual premiums.
Since the beginning of 2017, Bolton & Company has made several key recruits and opened a new office in Orange County. Over the past year, the company has focused on enhancing client engagement as the main part of its growth strategy, which led to the creation of a client experience platform. The company also partnered with a client satisfaction research company to further empower the leadership to hear clients’ concerns better and respond in a much timelier manner. In August, Bolton & Company was named by the Los Angeles Business Journal and Best Companies Group as one of the Best Places to Work in Los Angeles for the fifth consecutive year.
