Aon Benfield
As managing director of Aon Benfield’s global cyber practice group, Catherine Mulligan is a key contributor to the public-sector dialogue around cyber insurance. At a 2015 hearing of the US Senate Subcommittee on Consumer Protection, Product Safety, Insurance and Data Security in Washington, DC, Mulligan provided testimony on the state of the cyber insurance market. She also spoke at a 2016 hearing of the White House Commission on Enhancing National Cybersecurity. Recently, Mulligan presented to the Federal Advisory Committee on Insurance and is a regular participant at Department of Homeland Security and Treasury Department roundtables.
Prior to joining Aon in 2017, Mulligan served as the head of professional liability at Zurich North America, where she managed the portfolios and teams underwriting miscellaneous and healthcare professional liability, as well as security and privacy.
