While attending Ball State University, where she was an elementary education major, Nicole Ricigliano was given an opportunity to work a summer job at Arlington/Roe & Co. “It was that summer job that ended up changing everything,” she says. Back at school, Ricigliano changed her major and graduated with a risk management and insurance degree. She started her excess & surplus lines career at Nautilus Insurance Company as an assistant underwriter. Four years ago, she moved to Markel Corporation to work as an excess & umbrella underwriter and has continued to focus on fine-tuning her underwriting skills and expertise.
