As part of the annual Brokerslink global conference, a risk management forum will be held on September 28 in Marrakech. A first for Brokerslink, the forum will gather risk management professionals from EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa), the US, Canada, Asia, and Latin America.

Themes for the two-hour interactive session include cyber and reputation, global programmes and compliance, the transformation of the profession, and expectations for the industry.

Brokerslink chief executive José Manuel Dias da Fonseca said the launch of the yearly risk management forum reflects the firm’s vision, commitment to, and involvement in the risk and insurance landscape.

He commented: “Last year, Brokerslink transformed from a network into a global broking company with an international reach that offers a strong alternative to the major brokers. Since then, we have seen significant support from both the market and from our partners and affiliates, so we have accelerated our growth and strategic development.”

The insurance brokerage and risk management services organisation was created in 2004 as a global network of independent brokers. Incorporated in Switzerland, Brokerslink has since integrated best-in-class risk expert firms.

The 2017 Brokerslink global conference will be held on September 28-29 at the Es Saadi Palace, with around 250 delegates from approximately 50 countries expected to attend.
