One insurer is banking on telematics taking off, launching a website that will target Alberta and Ontario drivers.

InsureMy, a Calgary based, full service insurance brokerage, announced the introduction of their unique services in Alberta and Ontario and the official launch of their website, www.InsureMy.ca.

“We are very excited to launch our InsureMy brokerage services in both Alberta and Ontario, two of Canada's premier insurance markets,” says Hugh McTavish, president of InsureMy Ltd. “While the use of telematics in the global insurance market isn't new, our putting it to work in a tangible way for Canadians is. We expect to make a difference and change the face of insurance.”

In addition to traditional insurance products, InsureMy expects to further expand with their high-tech product offering that goes beyond coverage, says McTavish, enhancing safety and creating substantial insurance savings opportunities for Canadian drivers, subject to regulatory approval.

Revolutionizing the industry by marrying traditional insurance products with the advancements of innovative modern telematics, says McTavish, InsureMy seeks to give customers the power of choice when it comes to service and savings by using real-time driving data to affect change.

He added that for InsureMy's commercial customer base, “their insurance policies become powerful tools that fleet managers and operators won't want to be without as they seek ways to bring greater efficiency and cost savings to fleet management.”
