The New Year can often usher in changes – and that’s certainly the case for MAPFRE Global Risks (MGR), which has announced an office move at the heart of London.

The UK branch of the firm, which specialises in providing solutions for the UK and international markets, is now located at Dixon House (pictured), at 1 Lloyd’s Avenue, London. It’s a venue with a rich history having once been the headquarters of the East India Company.

“Our new office will provide a welcoming, spacious high-tech environment that will enable us to provide an even better service to our brokers and clients, as well as providing us with room for future growth,” explained Chris Smith, MGR chief regions and markets officer – international.

Dixon House is a 4,473 square metre property that was acquired by MAPFRE in 2016, and which will also host the offices of MAPFRE RE and MAPFRE ASISTENCIA.

According to the firm, it will continue to support brokers and clients from the new base and the phone numbers are unchanged.
