Mary Grandy began her career in the insurance industry in 1995 while working as a claims adjuster for two major insurance companies. She took that expertise to Jenkins Insurance Group, where, as a P&C claims advocate, she worked to ensure that clients’ interests were thoroughly represented. In 2010, she expanded her client focus to include insurance program design and risk analysis in a sales capacity, and she now uses her claims and coverage experience to assist clients in the proper placement of their insurance programs. In her current role at EPIC, Grandy focuses on the design and implementation of insurance and risk solutions for all aspects of commercial, P&C and workers’ compensation insurance. Her depth of expertise in litigated construction claims gives her a unique advantage in representing the construction industry.
Outside of EPIC, Grandy is active in a number of associations, including the Construction Financial Management Association, the Associated General Contractors of America and the American Subcontractors Association. In 2019, she received the CFMA National Joe Quigley Memorial Award for her dedication to the Sacramento chapter, the association and the industry.
