Nancy McMahon began her insurance career more than 20 years ago as a reinsurance technician with Alexander and Alexander. Today, she is president and CEO of Sapphire Blue, a managing general underwriter specializing in long-term care under
Ryan Specialty Group. McMahon has years of experience in medical liability – she previously served as a senior underwriter for CNA Healthpro and as director of medical professional liability at Professional Underwriters Corporation. Prior to co-founding Sapphire Blue in 2001, McMahon was responsible for launching a long-term care program with Lloyd’s of London.
