Charles Landrum started his insurance career in 1975 as an account executive with Frank B. Hall. In 1986, he moved to Allied International Holdings, where he became COO and claims manager of Allied unit T.H.E. Insurance Company. He was eventually promoted to president of Allied and T.H.E. Insurance Company. At the time, T.H.E. Insurance Company was one of the largest insurers of mobile amusement and amusement park risks in the US. Landrum participated in the development of new products and services focused on this very specialized industry.
Today, as vice president and CUO at Specialty Insurance Group, a subsidiary of Everest Insurance, Landrum’s responsibilities include strategic and management oversight for the underwriting unit, program design and development, and serving on Specialty Insurance Group’s executive committee, underwriting committee and senior staff.
