In August 2018, David McElroy was named CEO of Lexington Insurance Company, where he will serve as a member of the general insurance executive leadership team and will oversee all aspects of Lexington’s business. He will also lead general insurance program business in the US, which includes a range of niche markets supported by program administrators with market-leading infrastructure and underwriting expertise.
Over the course of his career, McElroy has held numerous leadership roles within the insurance industry. Most recently, he served as chairman and CEO of Arch Worldwide Insurance Group, an executive position of Arch Capital Group. Earlier in his career, McElroy held roles at The Hartford Financial Services Corporation, Reliance National and Chubb.
