President, Berkley Re America
In July 2019, W. R. Berkley appointed Dan Westcott as president of Berkley Re America. With more than 20 years of experience in the P&C reinsurance market, Westcott spent almost three years as chief operating officer of reinsurance for Navigators, a brand of The Hartford. Prior to that, he served as executive vice president at Willis Re.
