As managing director of Willis Towers Watson Networks, Sara Fardon is responsible for all aspects of the Networks’ business – and above all else ensuring that its proposition to its Network members is up to date, thus giving them a competitive trading advantage. Fardon is part of the Willis Towers Watson GB leadership team and externally, is a board member of the Chartered Insurance Institute. She is also a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Insurers. Her career started at Eagle Star before she moved to GA Bonus. From there, she moved onto Willis. Fardon’s early years have given her great insight into both broker and insurer issues alike. She has been part of Willis Towers Watson Networks since its inception in 1999 and in 2011, became managing director. They were the first Network to achieve CII Chartered Status and she actively encourages Network members to attain the same.
