Belinda Au has become CEO of Sun Life Singapore just this year, with the remit of overall strategic management and development of the business operations in Singapore. She also has oversight of, and provides strategic guidance to the leadership team of, Sun Life’s Bermuda business. Au’s financial services industry experience spans more than 25 years across various business lines – multi-channel distribution, HNW strategy, marketing, digital transformation, operations, and customer relationship management – and includes various in-country and regional senior leadership roles. Au joined Sun Life in April 2012 as the general manager of distribution and marketing at Sun Life Hong Kong. During her tenure, she established an enduring HNW business, deepened partnerships with financial intermediaries through strategic alliances, doubled the size of the agency force, and drove substantial growth in the individual life and health business. Au has also worked at AIA and Manulife-Sinochem. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science and Applied Mathematics from the University of Toronto, Canada, and a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Hull, UK.
