Brad French, a former rugby player and industry veteran of more than 25 years, is the managing director of SLE Worldwide Australia, a managing general underwriter specialising in sports, leisure, and entertainment. French’s insurance career started in 1993 after a job offer from Rollins Hudig Hall, which later became Aon. French worked his way up, managing underwriting and broking businesses, eventually running SLE for Aon. In 2008, he purchased SLE Worldwide from Aon. SLE was then acquired by specialist insurance group, Chaucer, in 2017. French was recently recognised in Insurance Business Hot List 2020.
