managing director for Asia Pacific
Aetna International’s Derek Goldberg has been managing director for Southeast Asia since July 2017, responsible for developing Aetna’s business throughout the Asia Pacific region. Goldberg joined Aetna in 2006 as director of business operations, and was promoted in 2010 as managing director for Southeast Asia. His extensive experience in insurance also includes 10 years with Allianz Worldwide Partners, where he held a number of leadership roles, including director of marketing for healthcare and director of provider network development. In 2017, he was recognised as CEO of the Year in the Insurance Asia Awards. Goldberg holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia.
