Zurich Insurance Group’s Lori Bailey is responsible for developing and implementing global strategies, portfolio management, underwriting governance, and product development globally for all cyber risk exposures. In her previous role, she was the global head of special lines. She is also the former head of Zurich’s Women’s Innovation Network in North America. She has held a number of leadership roles within Zurich since joining the firm in 2009. Prior to joining Zurich, Bailey was a vice president in AIG’s professional liability division. She also spent several years as a senior underwriter and began her career as a claims analyst in AIG’s professional liability division. Earlier, she served as a vice president in Marsh’s FINPRO division. Bailey now serves as a member of the Global Future Council for Cybersecurity where she provides expert input to the World Economic Forum’s Centre for Cybersecurity. Bailey has won many awards, including being named in Insurance Business America’s Hot 100, Elite Women, and Global 100 lists. Bailey was also named as a Woman to Watch by Business Insurance in 2017. She graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. Economics and Spanish degree from Dickinson College, and earned a M.A. degree in Spanish from Villanova University.
