Ross Hayward leads Australia’s largest privately owned premium funding company, which writes loans for more than 45,000 businesses each year through a network of more than 1,000 brokers. Before joining the firm, he worked at Ernst & Young as an accountant. According to Hayward, he entered the family business to help his father Barry raise some debt to expand Premium Funding, but he ended up staying long-term. While leading Premium Funding, he has held different roles at other companies, such as director at eSentry Underwriting and director at Montserrat Hospitals. Hayward is a certified public accountant. In 2012, he co-founded 50-50 Foundation, which provides cost-efficient fundraising solutions to charities. He also now sits as a director at Norbit App, a white label customer loyalty app designed for shopping centres, malls, and franchises. Hayward made the ranks in the Insurance Business Hot List 2018, and more recently the Hot List 2020. He is a certified public accountant.
