Tamara Simpkins Franklin commenced as chief digital, data, and analytics officer in October this year, charged with designing and implementing digital technologies and enhancing the use of data and analytics to transform how the insurance broker and risk adviser supports and serves clients. Franklin joined Marsh from IBM, where she most recently vice president of media and entertainment solutions for North America. She has more than 25 years of experience leading digital transformations and defining strategies for large multinational organizations, including E.W. Scripps, Time Warner Cable and Motorola. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Yale University, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
