As practice leader of TrueNorth’s transportation team, Trent Tillman specializes exclusively in developing risk management and insurance programs for the transportation industry, specifically for large for-hire carriers with considerable asset-light exposures.
Growing up in the insurance business, Tillman’s first job was supporting the underwriters at his father’s MGA business in Des Moines. Since 2003, he has been a transportation specialist at TrueNorth where his entrepreneurial approach, passion to create value, and ability to coordinate the talent and resources of the firm and strategic partners has allowed the company to bring a “TrueAdvantage” to clients. “To know that on a daily basis, we are helping people and companies protect and maximize their assets, resources, and opportunities.
