The driving factors behind James Russell’s success has been his desire to have genuine relationships with carrier, coworkers and clients, and his firm work ethic: “I was fortunate enough to have a background which prepared me to have a goal-oriented, disciplined approach in a job that can sometimes offer significant distraction,” he says. Previously, Russell was a high school football coach; today, he coaches businesses on how to best protect their assets.
“Having now been in the business long enough to truly have a feel for what works for me and what does not, 2018’s success was built on the preceding years’ relationships,” Russell shares. “I would like to have by book continue to grow. My approach has generally been very simple, and I plan to continue on that course. I would like to continue to build meaningful, impactful relationships, which should take care of the goals I have for my book of business.”
