After graduating from college,Christiansen served as a combat engineer officer in the US Army and was deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan. While in service, Christiansen received multiple commendation awards and letters of commendation for excellence.After returning home in 2013 at the rank of captain,Christiansen left the service with an honorable discharge to pursue his next career in the private sector with Gulfshore Insurance. Since joining in 2013, Christiansen has been named an IBA Top Producer four times, was nominated fora state-wide board position with the Florida Association of Insurance Agents and,most recently, was recognized in Gulfshore Business’ Top 40 Under 40 for 2019.
