Timothy Zufall’s insurance career started when he met his current boss at a charity basketball game and eventually landed a job selling insurance. “It has been the best choice I have made, and I love it,” he says. “It’s a great job being a producer … My main responsibility is to help as many people as I can with their insurance needs. I also try to be a sponge and learn as much as I possibly can.”
With less than two years of industry experience under his belt, Zufall is already making impressive strides. His book is currently worth nearly $250,000, and he has written over $1.2 million in premium in just eight months and is on track to hit $1.5 million in premium for the year. In addition, he has almost doubled his client base in the past year. Recently, Zufall won Union Standard Insurance Company’s Heavy Hitter contest, which recognizes the top-producing agent in a region.
