A Fortune 500 company has welcomed to its Australian business a new board member with extensive financial services experience in both directorship and executive roles.

Joining RGA Reinsurance Company of Australia (RGAA) was Elana Rubin – “an outstanding business leader and experienced board member who will bring great value to RGAA,” RGAA Chair Ian Pollard said.

“Elana’s extensive experience in financial services and life insurance will be invaluable as RGAA looks to grow during this period of significant change in the market,” said Mark Stewart, RGAA managing director.

Rubin also holds a number of directorships including ME Bank, Transurban QLD, Mirvac Group, the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority, and Afterpay Touch Group. She also previously chaired AustralianSuper.
