There is yet more competition in the insurance market as an online cycle and tri-sports retailer has updated its app to include incident help and insurance features.
Wiggle has updated its app to offer its customers quick access to cycle insurance and legal accident help to aid them in the event of a crash or similar accident, BikeBiz reported.
Kelly Barnes, head of business at Wiggle, said the move was in response to recent trends which saw a shift away from desktop driven sales and call centre claims to the mobile space, the report said.

“We wanted to lead the way and create the best mobile environment and experience for our customers to purchase insurance simply and make claims quickly,” Barnes said.
“This new app functionality adds to our vision of a single channel to allow users to interact with Wiggle across a range of areas – they can shop at Wiggle, track their order, book cycle events and now purchase insurance, make claims and get free initial claims advice in one place.”
