Eight months after Wotton + Kearney and DAC Beachcroft co-founded a new alliance that will deliver legal services for insurers and their global customers, the two have announced the integration of their Australian and New Zealand operations to further strengthen their regional focus.
In a move that drives further alignment of the Legalign Global model in Australasia, two of DAC Beachcroft's offices in Auckland and Wellington have become Wotton + Kearney (W+K) in New Zealand.
W+K and DAC Beachcroft currently work under a common client-services charter through the Legalign Global alliance, which means the integration will be seamless for both clients and staff, the firms said in a statement.
“As a law firm with a singular focus on the insurance industry, we are delighted to be broadening our services into New Zealand to assist our clients and their customers doing business in the region by joining forces with a high quality group of insurance lawyers led by Antony Holden,” said W+K’s chief executive partner,
David Kearney. “This expansion is consistent with our motivation to continue to build on our strong and collaborative global alliance and we look forward to enhancing our regional W+K team as we work with other Legalign Global member firms to deliver insurance legal services to our clients.”
