Satyamoorthy will be replacing outgoing president Ben Ng, who has been assigned to a new position at AIA Malaysia. Satyamoorthy has extensive experience in the insurance industry and the Indonesian market. He was previously AIA Indonesia’s head of partnership distribution before joining AIA Malaysia as chief corporate solutions officer.

“Satyamoorthy has a successful career track record in the fields of finance, business development and distribution across Asia and Europe,” said Jacky Chan, regional chief executive of AIA Group. “I am pleased that Satyamoorthy could re-join our Indonesian team as president director and I am confident Satyamoorthy will lead AIA Indonesia in attaining even higher growth and success in the years to come.”

For his part, Satyamoorthy said he was excited to have an opportunity to continue his predecessor’s work in sustaining AIA Indonesia’s strong business foundations.
“I also hope we can work together as a team to attain higher business growth for AIA Indonesia,” he said.
