There’s a new legal expenses business in town now that QIC Group member, Antares Asia, has launched its latest foray and appointed Mark Waters as legal expenses underwriter.
Waters is overseeing the inauguration and hopeful growth of the department after working at Abbey Legal Protection and Capita Insurance Services.
In his new position, Waters will report to Antares Asia CEO, Li Shan Yeo.
“Antares Asia has grown since its launch by offering specialist products which reflect local markets, underwritten by the very best in the field,” Yeo said.
“Our strategy is based on long-term, sustained growth, led by market-leading figures able to drive expansion in niches areas. Mark’s extensive experience in growing a successful and high-quality book of business makes him an excellent addition to our team. I am pleased to welcome him to Antares.”
