ArgoGlobal has appointed Noel Praveen as senior underwriter for casualty and professional lines, effective immediately. He is based in Dubai.
According to a statement from the Lloyd’s insurer, Praveen will report to Samir Hemsi, ArgoGlobal’s chief underwriting officer for the MENA region, also based in Dubai.
“Noel is an outstanding underwriter, recognised for his excellent technical skills, who will be a great addition to the Dubai team,” said Hemsi. “I would like to welcome him to ArgoGlobal Dubai and am confident that his hire will strengthen the company’s widely respected casualty and professional lines in MENA.”
Praveen has more than 12 years of industry experience, the statement said. Prior to joining ArgoGlobal, he worked at Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company, where he was liability, financial, and property lines underwriter. Before that, he was senior manager for liability and financial lines at Aon Global India and senior manager for financial and professional liability at Marsh India.
